2024: The First Annual Indigenous Wildlife Day!

Call it "Indigenous Wildlife Day" or in Martin Speak, "Indigenous Critters' day"!
On this day, October 14th 2024, our founder, Martin Tyner, Man of the Critters, has proclaimed recognition for all critters who stick to the same regions.
This year, we celebrate Bald Eagles which are indigenous to North America.
About Indigenous Wildlife Day!
- Our Mission: Indigenous Wildlife Day began in 2024. This day was created by Martin Tyner of Enoch Wildlife Rescue. The intention remains to both highlight wildlife native to the Americas and consider the threats they face from encroachments on their habitat.
- Our History:Our first year celebration of Indigenous Wildlife featured the Bald Eagle, native to North America.
- Meet Martin Tyner: he is a federally licensed falconer, eagle falconer, wildlife rehabilitator, wildlife propagator, and wildlife and environmental educator. He has been providing wildlife and environmental programs throughout the western United States, to schools, scouts and community groups for over fifty years.
